What does the $295 site assessment cover?
The $295 including GST offer includes an on-site visit for mould, dampness, condensation and suspected water leaks. You receive the assessment findings, the identified cause, a recommended solution and an estimate, with a quote where possible. It is not a complete building inspection. Laboratory testing, treatment and repairs are separate.
Is mould testing the same as a moisture assessment?
They answer different questions. A site assessment considers the problem areas and moisture concerns. Testing involves an agreed sampling and analysis scope. Tell Detections what you need to establish so the appropriate work can be discussed.
Can you review a meth report before I buy a property?
Yes. Send an existing PDF report with your questions and any purchase deadline. Detections can start the review remotely. The review scope and fee are confirmed first; a review does not include new sampling or automatically require a site visit.
Does meth screening include detailed testing?
No. Screening and detailed testing are separate scopes. The number of areas, sample method, laboratory work and reporting affect the total. Further testing, if needed, is agreed separately.
Does asbestos sampling cover the whole property?
Identification sampling concerns the agreed materials and samples. It is not a whole-property asbestos survey or clearance service. Describe the material and proposed work when enquiring; Detections will confirm the appropriate scope.
Who carries out treatment or repairs afterwards?
Healthy & Dry handles mould treatment, ventilation improvements and related repairs. Restoration Company handles methamphetamine decontamination where independent evidence indicates it is required. These services are separately scoped and priced.
Is my appointment confirmed when I submit?
No. Staff contact you personally to confirm the date, time and access arrangements. There is no online payment or automatic appointment confirmation.
